PURPOSE STATEMENT

The Product Manager in Pricing/Promotions/Assortment will lead, deliver & manage products involving Data, Reporting, Visualization & Advanced Analytics in Pricing/promotions/Assortment. In addition, this role is expected to be an expert in delivering decision science solutions in RGM domain namely Pricing, Promotion, Assortment & Customer Investments. The products are expected to help the business to take better decisions and create value for them.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: The candidate is expected to

• 
  Acting as a subject matter expert for RGM analytics and the data science behind it
• Be the brain behind the evolution of the product in the area of responsibility.
• Define specifications for the product enhancements & ensuring the build happens inline with the details
• Support 3 to 5 product implementations at a given time in partnership with centre of excellence of Dev Ops & Data Science
• Engage & manage global stakeholders with the acumen to translate business problems into D&A asks and D&A outcomes to business solutions
• Be the change agent and driving force to deliver superior RGM solutions that provides competitive edge for BAT
• Follow agreed processes to deliver outcomes efficiently & within agreed SLAs with a continuous improvement mindset
• Embody the – D&A culture and ways of working and strive to constantly work towards creating a better D&A brand within the company
• Coach junior team members to help them ramp-up into the organization

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE

• 
  Educational qualifications: Graduate in Engineering / Computer Science/ Statistics / Economics / Analytics
• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on working experience in Dashboarding / Data Visualization / Advanced Analytics / Modelling / delivery out of which minimum of 3 yrs in domain of RGM.
• Expert hands-on experience in the following areas:
  • RGM Solution Designing
  • Good hold over modelling, AI, ML and other modern techniques
  • Basic knowledge of Power BI along with understanding of UI / UX tools
  • Experience in Azure cloud, parallel processing will be preferred
  • Exposure to RDBMS tools like SQL, Oracle along with SAP will be an added advantage
• Minimum experience of 2 years in managing & engaging global stakeholders independently is a must
• Good communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas & solutions is must
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office would be necessary
• Delivering in ambiguous & dynamic situations as a part of a global multi-functional team by building partnerships & working diplomatically
